George Kendrick
President

George Kendrick is a retired consultant, professional geologist, and renewable energy specialist with experience in planning, research, and project management.  During his career, George coordinated planning and design services for dozens of wind and solar projects across the United States, including many in Maine.  George and his spouse, Cay, live full-time on Vinalhaven near Armbrust Hill.

Doug Green
Vice-President

Doug Green is an attorney at the law firm of Venable LLP in Washington, D.C., where his practice focuses on representing clients in administrative and appellate litigation, enforcement defense, and compliance counseling under the nation's environmental laws. He also serves as counsel to a national electric and gas utility trade association representing over 130 members on environmental-related issues involving the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power. Doug and his wife are part-time residents of Vinalhaven, having spent 17 years on the island at their home on Roberts Harbor.

Chuck Gadzik
Secretary/Treasurer

Chuck Gadzik is a retired forester having spent his career managing private forestland across northern Maine, with various roles in Maine Forest Policy work.  His electric utility experience includes having served on The Board of the Eastern Maine Electric Cooperative.  Chuck and his wife, Cynthia, have been on Vinalhaven since the mid 1990’s. 

Amy M. W. Turner
Chief Executive Officer

Amy M. W. Turner joined FIEC in March 2020 as its Chief Executive Officer following 12 years in the utility industry as an attorney. Turner holds Juris Doctorate and Master of Legal Administration degrees from the University of Denver, a Master of Arts from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Liberty University.
