Fox Islands Wind is developing a community benefits plan that will include educational and charitable programs that will run alongside the repowering project, ensuring that this investment not only advances our sustainable energy goals but also provides tangible, lasting benefits to FIEC members and the North Haven and Vinalhaven communities.
A public meeting to discuss the draft Community Benefits Plan will be held on October 22, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the upstairs conference room at FIEC’s Freight Building (24 W Main Street, Vinalhaven) and online via Zoom (Meeting ID: 892 7101 4663, Passcode: 880698).
